Visakha Puja, or the Day of Vesak, is the festival celebrating the birth, enlightenment, and parinibbana (passing away) of the Lord Buddha. It falls on the full moon day of the month of Visakha or Vesak, the sixth lunar month, (which usually falls during May in the Gregorian calendar)
In celebration of Visakha Puja Day, Wat Nawamintararachutis in collaboration with NMR Meditation Center and the Thai Cultural Council in Boston, present the event “One Hour of Conscious Awakening”

- To contribute to global peace, starting with inner peace.
- To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of Wat Nawamintararachutis Vararam.

This event invites all practitioners, parents, students, and interested individuals, both Thai and international to join the activity. Seats are limited, so interested participants are encouraged to reserve their seats promptly. The format includes learning and practicing mindfulness through various activities such as lectures, demonstrations and guided meditation. Dressing in white or respectful attire is encouraged if possible.
