Ajahn Jayasāro (born Shaun Michael Chiverton on 7 January 1958) is a British and Thai Buddhist monk in the Forest Tradition of Ajahn Chah.^[3]

Since early 2003 Ajahn Jayasaro has been living in a hermitage at the foot of Khao Yai Mountain National Park, giving regular teachings, promoting the integration of Buddhist developmental principles into the Thai education system, and serving as the spiritual director of several Buddhist schools and non-profits.
