Homage to the Triple Gem<br \/>\nPresident of ceremonies lights candles and joss sticks in honor of the Buddha,<br \/>\nthe Dhamma and the Sangha and leads the congregation in requesting the Five Precepts from<br \/>\nthe Sangha.<br \/>\nHead monk gives and congregation receives the Five Precepts.<br \/>\nPresident asks the Sangha for blessings.<br \/>\nThe Sangha blesses the congregation.<br \/>\nCongregation assembles for a group photograph.<br \/>\nOffering of alms (tahk baht)to the monks<br \/>\n11 : 15 A.M. Offering of lunch to monks<br \/>\nCongregation also partakes of lunch.<br \/>\n11 : 30 A.M. Students of the Sunday School perform traditional Thai dances and Concert.<br \/>\n12 : 30 A.M. Congregation collects offerings in appreciation of the sermon and presents the collection,<br \/>\nthe Papah,<br \/>\nand alms to the monks.<br \/>\nPresident invites congregation to pour lustral water on the Buddha image.<br \/>\nCongregation also pours lustral water over the hands of the monks and elder members of<br \/>\nthe community.<br \/>\nHomage and conclusion of festivities<br \/>\nHead monk blesses the congregation.
